Hey, it’s Friday! Shit, yes. So, I did a thing Wednesday.
I got a cupcake tattoo!
I had originally wanted to just get a tiny one on the inside of one of my fingers, but I’m kind of a why-get-the-donut-hole-when-you-can-get-the-donut kind of girl.
So, I guess there’s not much more to say about that.

With out any further ado, the pictures:

My virgin wrist

This was the most attractive out of all the pictures my friend took. So, obviously, that’s saying something. But, you gotta have the “during” photo.
And…

Ta-Da!
It’s bigger than I had initially thought I’d go, and I had a brief freak out moment, but now I’m just in love.
FATTY MCCUPCAKES FOREVER, BISHES!

I love this!!! What did your students think about it?
They haven’t seen it. When they saw the bandage yesterday, I said I got a little “owie” 😂😬. I want to downplay to them as much as possible.
The first school board I worked in, I had to cover my tattoos. I was a student teacher and the principle didn’t come right out and say it, but it was heavily implied. She even had a tattoo on her wrist but her watch was loose enough to push down and cover it at all times. So I took out my nose ring and let it grow over, and every day applied tattoo makeup onto my foot to cover that tattoo. But my second school board (when I actually started working), the administration/kids were all totally fine with tattoos! It was great. So freeing to work in a board that allowed them.
Yeah, in my school district there is no actual policy stating tattoos are not allowed. Obviously, the individual schools and principals can be picky about that, but I’ve never had to cover my tattoos. I think they’ve finally become more accepted.
Yeah I like that they are becoming more accepted. Especially in jobs like teaching where there is soo much scrutiny over how the person looks.
Right?! My school and principal is pretty flexible. I wear leggings every single day. Of course, I make them look dressed up and professional, but it’s definitely changing for the better.
Eek!!! I love love love this!!! It looks so good, and the location is perfect. Also, that *is* a fantastic photo of you — your outfit is so cute! Also, I’m in love with your nail polish. 🙂
Thank you so much, friend! I was rocking my LuLaRoe and my grown out gel manicure!! The
Grown out?? Girl your nails are perfect. Psssh. 😉
Close up, they’re SCURRY! I have a nail appointment tomorrow 🙌
Bahaha you should see my jacked up talons right now. They’re not fit for public viewing at the moment…
LOL! I picked at some of mine today. They look FABULOUS!!
Gah, how did “the” sneak in there??
Bahaha don’t you love typos like that? I did something similar at work yesterday, where I accidentally hit send after just typing “Hi *name*.” Facepalm.
LOL!! Yup! Love it 😩😩
P.S. This post reminds me what a wimp I am. I theoretically want a small tattoo somewhere, but I’m too scared!
It’s really not that bad. If you’re not too bad with pain, you’ll be fine. Now, if you get one on your foot, that’s another story. Foot tattoos are super painful!
So a wrist tattoo like you got isn’t as bad as it looks? I would have guessed otherwise based on the lack of muscle in that area, but what do I know! Wherever the least painful spot is, is where I should perhaps consider.
Well, it’s not a walk in the park by any means 😜. I have tattoos all over my back, arm, foot, and now wrist. It wasn’t as bad as my foot, but it hurt more than my arm. Your back have spots that are super painful and some places that aren’t so bad. The upper arm is a piece of cake.
Good to know!!
looks cool! and good on the wrist 🙂 I hated the shading part with mine… damnit that was a painful 2 hours xD let’s say you don’t get a tattoo because it “feels” good lol even though I had it on my left arm which hurts the least I think haha.
Thanks! It was so weird, usually shading does hurt worse, but on my wrist, the outline hurt worse! My left arm was a piece of cake!
Love the tattoo! Who did it? And I see you are wearing your LulaRoe. Looking fantastic!
Thanks, lady! I got it done by Parker at Marked Studios. I highly recommend it!
Love it! Yay! I’ll be posting about mine when I get it done… consultation scheduled for Tuesday ah!
Yay! What are you wanting done?
I am getting a watercolour tigers head that is in blues and yellows with the crowns of Sweden and the script “en svensk tiger” …those are words from a loose lips sink ships type of propaganda poster from ww2… the sentence has double meaning- ” a Swede keeps silent ” or “a Swedish tiger” 😊
That’s gonna be badass!!!! Can’t wait to see it!
I hope it is badass! I intend for it to be just below my neck/between my shoulder blades 🙂
NICE!!
CUTE. A cupcake tattoo – I’ve never seen that before 😀 It’s perfect for you lol. Also, I’m in love with your leggings. I was going to ask you where you got them, but I see you already answered it! I’m off to find some cool ones.
LOL. Thanks, girl. Yup, LuLaRoe. Beware, though-it’s very addictive! You won’t be able to stop at a sensible amount of leggings 😬
I didn’t know there weren’t stores. Now I have to find a random person! They make it so difficult lol
You can add me on FB if you want and I can help you join some groups!
I would if I had FB 🙂
Oh, snap!!
Can you tell me the avg price of their leggings? I feel like I’m getting emotionally invested. Before I hunt down someone in my area, I don’t want to be super disappointed if they are like $100/pair lol
They are $25 each plus tax and shipping if you buy from someone not local 👍
Nice! That’s not bad.
Gorgeous, I always wanted a tattoo but at my age it probably won’t happen now. I hate pain even more than back then haha
I’d say ‘branded sweet’ in your title instead ^_^
Yes! I love “Branded Sweet”!! I don’t think age matters! YOLO!
True, true, ladies older than me have been getting tattoos. But still the fear. I might get henna though. I think they are very pretty
I love henna! It’s very pretty and you don’t have to commit long term. Win-win.
Well that really is quite sweet.
Thank you!
Sweeet!
Very cool! Though it would make me constantly hungry lol!!!
LOL! That might be a slight problem!
Especially since I’ve only just lost all this weight lol!!!
Yeah, you don’t need the temptation!
LOL!!!
Yay!! I love tattoos…and piercings….and purple hair….and leggings….
I should add – got my first tattoo at 33 and my nose piercing at 43….It’s never too late. The piercer told me he did a 90-year-old that day.
Wow! A 90-year-old! What a baller! I agree, it’s never too late to get your badass on. My first tattoo was a lame ass tramp stamp when I was 20. Lesson of the day? Sometimes it’s wise to wait until later 😑
Or not. They’re who we were at the time, right?
I guess!!
I’m just glad Facebook wasn’t a thing when I was 20. Oy. lol
NO KIDDING
Haha!! Yay!!
